Kelly has been building her corporate expertise for more than 25 years. With an impressive educational background, including a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Business Administration from Texas State University, Kelly’s credentials are solid.
In addition to her strong academic foundation, Kelly holds a Certified Public Accountant license from the State of Texas and is a Certified Global Management Accountant certified by the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA).
Her comprehensive skills span operations, product management, accounting, compliance, operations, and financial matters.
Kelly has made significant contributions to recognized companies such as Dell, Dell Financial Services, Quintiles, Talecris Biotherapeutics, and Aeterna Zentaris. As Chief Financial Officer at a SaaS company and a for-profit higher education IT Training company, she spearheaded the digital transformation of the back office and successfully executed the initial phase of a 5-year exit strategy.
Giving Back – Social Responsibility
Beyond business, Kelly is deeply committed to giving back to the community through her involvement with non-profit organizations. From her board membership at the Tammy Lynn Center and special committee involvement at Band Together NC, Kelly makes a lasting impact on those she serves.
Currently, Kelly holds the positions of Treasurer and Secretary at the Misty Carol Project, Inc. She is also a board member of the Texas Hemp Coalition and serves as a mentor for the McCoy College of Business Program at Texas State University.
