About Kelly Mattarocci

Kelly Mattarocci is a CPA and MBA with more than 30 years of experience across accounting, finance, governance, risk, and executive leadership. Through Market & Margin, she helps founders and executives build The System of Money™—financial systems that support sound decision-making at every stage of growth.

Kelly began her career at KPMG, where she developed a strong technical foundation early. She quickly realized, however, that her strengths lay beyond repetition. She was drawn to the bigger picture—how decisions connect across a business, how systems shape outcomes, and how leadership choices compound over time.

To gain that perspective, she spent decades saying yes to complex, cross-functional work. Her experience spans startups, midsize companies, and large publicly traded organizations. She also said yes to difficult situations—including sell-side advisory, divestitures, bankruptcies, fraud investigations, and high-stakes remediation—experiences that sharpened her understanding of how businesses operate under growth, pressure, and scrutiny.

A lifelong learner with a long-standing interest in technology, Kelly brings a systems-level view to financial leadership—translating complexity into structure and helping leaders move from reaction to direction, and from growth to stewardship.
